i have used the sticky notes and i am satisfied with this free product. It is easy to use, plus i like the scribbles. JUST STICK EVERYTHING in it... :)

I love them I forget to pay my bills and to whom so I write a note to say dont for get to write such check number and the amount and send when I look at pc all the time to see what it is I send right away.

I have downloaded successfully the Free Sticky Notes on to my travelling laptop. I have yet to aquaint myself with all its attributes, but so far all seems very good. Thank you.

I wanted a sticky note with my companies phone list that would be instantly available to me from my desktop. I did not like having to go through the program interface to find my note. I would like to have seen a shortcut to the sticky without having to go through a program running in the desktop tray.

Very usefull,I can hide & show my sticky note whenever I want it urgently & never will miss any of my task. But hope in future it will upgrade with alarm & history log,for me to can keep track. But anyway,it a very usefull software. TQ Sticky Notes ;->

Is very good but it would help a lot if while i am opening other programs or internet pages,the notes should stay on desktop instead of beeing all the time on top of each page.

Only really used the program to put one note on my desktop, but it hasn't caused my computer to burst into flames or die of the plague, so...good stuff..?

Good morning,
I found that the "Free Sticky Notes" package does not allow sending/receiving of notes over a network, it tell me that the other Computer does not have the same Rev Level as the sending Computer??

I used the same installation file to install it on both Computers.

I have since installed the Trial version, and it works fine.

Any thoughts?

I'm very pleased with this little app. It does what it says on the tin and for me means I haven't got to run Outlook, which I don't normally use just to have sticky notes. Many thanks - reccomended.

The best I have found so far. It is easy and intuitive and has more features than I would expect for free. The "To Do" list is a nice feature. I imagine I will be using this for a long time. Thank you!

Very helpful that it does not need to be installed - just unzipped.
Appearance of notes seems a bit uncustomisable - if you want to be able to expand or contract a note's size, you need to go 'unskinned' - in which case, despite what the help file says, for me I was stuck with yellow background.
Nonetheless, useful and with small footprint.

I was looking for a stickies program similar to the stickies available on a MAC. Though that seems to be virtually impossible, I found this Post-It-Notes program seemed to be pretty hard to get around as it popped up in different download guises. It is a nice program but with a few more bells and whistles than i was looking for. But hey it works nicely and has an added bonus of taking pics into the notes. pretty cool!

Disappointed

Uninstalled within an hour. You can indeed create nice looking sticky notes, but I don't want all of them displayed at all times. There needs to be a scheduling function of when to display an item daily, weekly, etc... I want to use it as a reminder note without it being displayed all of the time, cluttering up my desktop.

Nice Application

they do the job

they are not very pretty but I wanted something to send notes over our LAN and they do that job very well. Easy to install and easy to send over the network. Just wish they looked a little better, more like sticky notes, less like a dialog box.

Small and easy

Small and easy and simple to use. My only nag is I would prefer if I could hide the menubar and leave just the note visible. Otherwise it does what you expect withour any hassle. Great little prog.

Free SN 5.1 vs 3M Post-It Notes

I've used the 3M product for several years and was quite pleased with it. I then switched to Vista and my 3M product was incompatable. I didn't like their upgrade options - so the search begins, trial version after trial version, free version after free version. I finally ran across Free Sticky Notes v 5.1 - and now my search is over.
